e-rugby would like to bring you this EXCLUSIVE interview with the legendary NTU rugger, Mr. Chris 'BOSS' Cheng.

e-rugby: Hi Boss, hows life in Australia?

Chris: Great! Getting more sleep and definitely more exercise walks in 1 month more than i walked in 1 year in S'pore! Definitely getting fitter but i very concerned with whats happening in team NTU

e-rugby: So... you heard about our situation?

Chris: Injuries cannot be helped but when senior players lack the heart to play for this team, its a major cause for concern. What example are they setting for the future generations? Team NTU has not won since our batch. Team NTU is of proud winning tradition, and team NTU cannot win it next season because they are not a team but a bunch of individuals, they should talk less and more action. All want to make their comments heard but nothing to back it up.

e-rugby: What do you define as TEAM?

Chris: Like minded individuals working towards a common goal ready to put their bodies on the line for one another.

e-rugby: Have you faced any conflicts in the teams you played in before?

Chris: Yes definitely, but you have to work it somehow or other, if not it no fun playing. Rugby is about playing with friends that makes it enjoyable. If not wats the point.

e-rugby: In your honest opinion, since former Capt Potato King Thiam stepped down, who do you think will make a good team captain this coming season?

Chris: I think it was too early for him to step down. Arjun maybe, but has to control his fiery temper. Tze got potential, he got heart. Need someone who can command the respect of others without saying much like Chee Keong, Yew Seng. Another great captain I played with Jie Fu (Kai Hock).

e-rugby: Some commented that Arjun is too young and inexperience to lead such a big team like NTU. Whats your opinion?

Chris: Like I said he has the potential to be a great captain if he controls his fiery temper. He needs to release his wrath on the opposing players and not on his own. With age and experience he might mellow, but age is not an issue and he definitely has the experience.

e-rugby: We all hope team NTU will support the new Capt. like how they supported King Thiam. Lastly, what do you have to say to the players for this upcoming season?

Chris: Hope you guys prove me wrong. Play as a team and enjoy the game!
