Lincoln Tan arrived at NTU to start his new job as NTU Rugby's Coach and vowed: 'I'm going to do it my way'.

NTU Sports Manager Adrian Kee hailed a 'new chapter' for the NTU team as Tan began his tenure as Gene Tong's successor.

And the new boss said: 'It's very exciting, I can't wait to actually get started. It will be a great challenge and a great adventure.'

'It's going to be totally different, I'm going to do it my way. It's going to be different from Tong, I'm looking forward to the big challenge.'

Asked about his first major task at hand, Coach Tan replied ' I hope the first thing the players do is to get a pair of comfortable running shoes. I will be using the track pretty often. Anybody can score in our side and that is what you want. In order to do so, FITNESS is very important.'

This exclusive interview was done 9 am this morning thru the phone between Coach Tan himself and e-rugby reporter. Despite recent signings... Coach Tan is expecting more players to come as he aims to build a team that is capable of winning for the next 3 seasons.

NTU officially sent their scouts to NIE last week to scout for players with potential and passion.
